My e-book launch

I am proud to announce the release of my first ever e-book. I have been working on it for a while (and it was a lot more work than I thought it would be) and it is a long time in the making.

Indeed, this first attempt is a collection of pictures from my 2004 round-the-world trip. Below is the link to access the current PDF version.

The Road Less Traveled By

I hope you enjoy it, and please make sure to let me know what you think.

  1. Started looking through the e-book, such beautiful and amazing shots. The panoramic shots really capture the whole “essence” of the individual cities and locations. A very nice collection showing differing habitats and environments around the world as well as a variety of cities and varying cultures. Curiously I am wondering, as the beginning said the amount of film you had utilized and was wondering if you had much along the lines of city culture or street shots of say local people from the differing cities-more on the side of showing the individual cultures from a daily perspective. Very great captures overall.

    1. Hi, first of all thanks for your feedback, it’s much appreciated and I am happy you enjoyed the photos. In those 7 months I visited 15 countries and was very conscious of having to develop everything when I got back so unfortunately the majority of my shots are ‘touristy’ taken to show people back home the sights. Also, I was quite a bit younger and my photography sensibilities have developed quite a bit since then. This includes the confidence to take photos of strangers in public. Similarly, another issue was my level of competence with my camera and for the e-book I, of course, wanted to show the best photos. I must say I was also very excited by the panoramas which I had totally forgotten I had taken and never put together and so they are the focus. But I appreciate the question and I agree it could do with a bit more humanity.
